FIRST STEP PIANO HIRE

Bruce Millers First Step Piano hire scheme enables you to simply hire a piano for six months (or longer if you wish), giving you the chance to determine whether or not to make the investment of a piano of your own. 

Our 'First Step' scheme is simple.  Rent a piano from us for as long as you wish (minimum hire period is six months).  At the end of the six month rental, you have three options as follows:

1.  If you decide to buy a new piano from our range, we will deduct the entire first six months rental from the purchase price.

2.  If you are still unsure, you can simply hire for a further six months.

3.  Should you decide you no longer require a piano, we will arrange collection (carriage fee payable).

FAQ's

What kind of pianos?  -  Nearly new, reconditioned and second hand.

What  condition?  -  Properly tuned, playing well, clean and presentable.

What standard are they suitable for?  -  Beginner to Intermediate.

Can I buy a hire piano?  -  No 

Who is responsible should a fault appear?  -  Bruce Millers will repair free of charge (excludes tunings).

Do I get a rebate if I decide to buy a piano?  -  Yes.  The whole of the first six months rental is credited towards the purchase price of a new piano (50% if a digital piano rather than an acoustic piano is bought).

Are there any restrictions?  -  Hire scheme is only available within a 35 mile radius around Aberdeen city.

Are there any further costs?  -  Yes, carriage is extra but heavily subsidized.   

• Up to 15 miles:  £35 per carriage, £45 if stairs are involved.
• 15 - 35 miles:  £45 per carriage, £55 if stairs are involved.
  
• Return carriage is waived if you decide to buy a new piano.
